SERVICES AND SUPPORT

SMG includes installation and training for all of our solutions. A portion of the SMG Vision Statement is to "Enable our customers to use state-of-the-art technology". To fullfill this vision, SMG will install most of the products sold to the customer. SMG will also provide training after the solution is installed. The most successfull installations are when SMG includes additional hours for ongoing training after the installation and initial training is complete. For example, SMG will include 2 hours per month to have a trainer visit with an employee of a client to train them on how to scan documents to a shared server and create a proper folder structure. SMG will visit this employee one time per month over 6 to 12 months to increase retention rates and to insure that the proposed efficiencies of the solution are implemented.

EQUIPMENT

SMG's focus is to provide solutions that enhance the productivity in ways that our clients communicate using hardware tools such as computers, servers, phones, copiers, faxes, printers and software tools such as web sites, accounting programs, inventory programs, e-mail, office suites, etc. SMG has partnered with the leading providers in each equipment product and software segment. SMG generally obtains VAR (Value Added Reseller) status with original equipment manufacturers at prices 10-20% below average retail pricing.

Further SMG is constantly evaluating current vendor relationships, while also contemplating the addition of new vendor partners. When multiple vendors can offer the same products (example: Dell, Gateway and CDW can all sell Microsoft Software), quotes will be requested from all potential suppliers. SMG believes this open competition for our business will offer the best possible pricing for our customers.
