Early in my career I was able to serve on the board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley. I learned about the structure of a non for profit, what kind of revenue streams they require to serve our communities, and that these non for profits serve a very important role in filling the gaps our state and government services cannot fill. Many times, they can do it much better, they just need our help. The more we support these non for profits, the better our communities will be. By finding something that every non for profit needs to operate, we're doing a great thing for the communities we live in. Our donations can save these organizations thousands of dollars each year.
